Alaska summer doesn’t wait around. 🌿☀️🔥

The mountains are green, the wildflowers are still hanging on, the waterfalls are running, and those long golden evenings are still giving us everything they’ve got.

But if you know Alaska, you know what August means: the seasons are already starting to turn.

So rain or shine, get up, get out, and make the most of it while you can. Hike the trail. Chase the sunset. Sit by the water. Build the fire. Take the long way home.

There’s still plenty of summer left—go enjoy it.

Joanna’s work celebrates the vibrant colors, wildlife, landscapes, and beauty of an Alaskan summer through fiber art and framed giclée prints.

Stop by from 5–8 PM to meet the artist, enjoy small bites and punch, and spend the evening exploring art in the heart of downtown Anchorage.
