Thursday evening during our annual joint meeting, CAVC honored Jerry & Loretta Scott for their 40+ years of serving in our state council, NAMA , and local charities. Note: Jerry & Loretta started the Scott Family Foundation "Stu Case memorial" a few years ago and donates to the Operator of the Year, and Supplier of the Year favorite charities in their name. Jerry also served on the NAMA Board of Directors, CAVC past President and was awarded the "Operator of the Year" by NAMA. Guests such as Dan Marchetti, Richard Schramm, Dan Reeves and Robert Donohue spoke about all the contributions and time that Jerry & Loretta gave. Although they have sold their Canteen franchise, they will forever remain our close friends!

Our joint annual meeting with the Arizona group is Sept 11-13. It’s being held at the Renaissance Esmeralda Hotel in Indian Wells. Hotel rooms must be booked by this Friday to receive our group discount which saves quite a bit of money off the normal hotel rate.

Greg Wilson and Max Duarte have a super education program lined up on Thursday from 1 to 5 PM.

Alishia Zaldivar has already maxed out on our golf tournament with the number of participants.

Chip English has a fun program scheduled for all the non-golfers at Fantasy Springs bowling competition and lunch.

Lisa Mattias is putting together a great list of auction items for this year !

If you have any questions about the meeting, text back or PM us.
