We are so sad to announce the closing of Jägerhaus German Restaurant in Anaheim, CA. This iconic restaurant has been our home for many years and the memories are ones that we'll treasure always. We will close at 9pm on Sunday, December 12, 2021. Thank you so much to all our wonderful friends who have become family to us over the years. We appreciate your kindness, your laughter, your stories and your family memories.

We are broken-hearted to announce that Sandie Schwaiger, owner and manager of Jägerhaus German Restaurant died October 6th. Sandie's enthusiasm and optimism has guided Jägerhaus for more than 21 years and we've lost a wonderful friend, champion and truly gracious lady. She was buried in Riverside, CA in Evergreen Memorial Park after a private service. A Celebration of Life will be planned for her in the spring that will include all of her friends and fans.

Yes, we are OPEN! Rumors have been flying around! Yes, we are moving the restaurant this year and WE HAVE ANOTHER LOCATION that is under construction now. We don't know exactly when the new location will be finished, permits, inspections & any and all unforseen obstacles, but the restaurant will continue to serve in our current location until the new one is completed.

Strawberry German Pancakes are BACK! This seasonal favorite is back on the menu as of Saturday, May 8, 2021! The famous German pancake topped with the sweetness of fresh strawberries, it's one of our most popular seasonal dishes ever, for good reason! Just a note...Moms really like this! :-)

Monday April 12 - 5pm planning commission is going to hear the "for" and "against" for the 7-11 and carwash planned for our location at Ball Road and Sunkist in Anaheim!! You can email Way Carvalho of the Planning Commission with your thoughts. (We know you will be polite but feel we have to add that Wayne is a nice person! Just let him know how you feel about the carwash project and possibly why. We also REALLY NEED THE DEVELOPERS TO HONOR THEIR PLEDGE TO HELP THE SMALL BUSINESSES FINANCIALLY! Jägerhaus is one of those businesses depending on this in order to revamp our new location.)
