We have gained soooo many new followers since we opened, so I figured I would take just a minute to introduce myself to the ones who are new here.
My name is LaShay....Auntie LaShay.....Nonnie.....ShayShay.... I'll answer to just about anything. I'm from the big metropolis of Wilmer and I still call it home. On days when I'm not at The Fitz House....wait, I'm always there.... but on the off chance that I'm not, you can find me somewhere out in the country probably doing some sort of farm[ish] work.
I always secretly dreamed of opening my own restaurant, but openly shut the idea down every time someone mentioned it until early this year. A passing conversation/joke in the salon chair turned into a more serious conversation that turned into a reality.
I couldn't have done any of this without my people....the ones who have shown up, supported, prayed, loved, eaten. If I started naming names I'm sure I'd leave someone out. Jansen and Cragg took a chance on someone they didn't even really know and I am so glad they did.
We have some BIG things coming up in September and I can't wait to be able to share those with all of you.
Thank you all for stopping by week after week and supporting my little dream. It means more to me than I could ever say. We are gearing up for month #4.
