Last week🚨

It comes with a heavy heart that I’ve decided to make this the last week for Punks. Everyone knows the news from a earlier post. But if you don’t, Seasonal is closing and I do not want to find a new home for Punks. I’m turning this trailer into a second barbecue trailer.

I would love for this week and this post, not to be sad, but instead, let’s celebrate! It’s been a fun summer and a small food trailer parked in front of a store had 1698 tickets since April and we sold over 2000 burgers. No McDonald’s but it seems unreal. That’s a lot of burgers y’all. Please come get one more this week. Wings are great too😄

Thurs - Sat 11:30-7 with Saturday being until we sell out.

We are open today and this week Thurs-Sat 11:30-7. No specialty burger, but I have a good one for next week. Like I said in a long post yesterday, Punks will be closing soon, no timetable for when the last day will be. As long as my current staff sticks around and you all show up, it could be weeks or months. So come by and get lunch if you’ve enjoyed the Punks Trailer this summer!

Big news but not great news. I found out yesterday that Seasonal specialty stores is closing. They will be completely out of there by the end of the year. We’re coming off our best week ever, but to say this past spring, and summer has been a grind, is an understatement. Although I like the spot, and I know the food was good, but having trouble with consistent days and hours affected sales. But I don’t like to quit, and I was already prepared to go next season. However, I’m NOT looking for a new spot. Definitely not interested in moving, the location was great, and honestly finding a good spot for a food truck is not easy. It’s like it was meant to be, because although I haven’t been in there doing all the cooking, it has been stressful, dealing with staff issues, working around my busy catering schedule and like I said some weeks sales were low. Instead, I will be turning that trailer into a second BBQ trailer and working on growing my BBQ biz. With that said Punks has weeks maybe months still open. A lot of that will based on how long my current staff wants to stick around and if you show up. Sorry to all the Punks fans, it’s one food truck season and done. But don’t be sad for me, I’m really looking forward to the future. My barbecue has always been my bread and butter and I will be fine. The staff will move on to bigger and better things and we all live, grow and learn. I’ve learned a lot from this experience.

People are starting to figure out how good our chicken bites are! We sold out late afternoon yesterday, but we stocked up. These have been a family favorite since I opened in April. With the amount of sauces we have and dips. I was waiting for those to catch fire. Open today 11:30-7 Outdoor seating and on door dash.

The food truck is back to its normal days and times. Sorry that over the last few weeks it has been more of a pop-up schedule. I can’t promise something won’t happen again, but I’m hoping a change in this schedule is few and rare
