Our annual Children’s Coloring Contest is officially underway!

Children ages 12 and under are invited to design and color their own ice cream flavor for a chance to see it brought to life by the ISU Creamery. Coloring sheets are available in-store or can be downloaded from our website.

Entries are due by 5:00 p.m. on July 1. All submissions will be displayed in the Creamery, and the winning flavor will be revealed on July 10 before being made and sold for a limited time later this summer.

In honor of both World Milk Day and National Dairy Month, we're kicking off the month with some fun dairy facts, starting with one of dairy's most iconic products: milk.

Milk is at the heart of many of the products we make here at the ISU Creamery, from ice cream to cheese!

Did you know? National Dairy Month was originally established as National Milk Month in 1937 to encourage milk consumption and support dairy farmers during the summer months, when milk production was at its highest.

Stay tuned throughout June as we share more fun facts and stories about the dairy industry that makes your favorite dairy products possible.

Iowa State is welcoming more than 8,000 visitors to campus for Odyssey of the Mind, an international creative problem-solving competition for students from elementary school through college. We’re celebrating the creativity with a flavor as fun as the event itself.

Last Wednesday, April 22, ISU Creamery employee and student Christina Jackson, along with Creamery students, led a flavored butter workshop for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI). Participants learned how to make flavored butter at home and were able to take their creations with them. We are very grateful to OLLI for sponsoring the workshop and making this event possible!
