🍦💜 Until we meet again… 💛🍦
Next Saturday will be our last day of the 2026 season, and then our little window will close until March 2027.
Every year, when we reach this moment, I find myself feeling so many emotions at once.
I’m tired. 😂
I’m ready to slow down.
I’m ready for family time.
I’m ready to sleep without wondering if I remembered to order enough cups, cones, toppings, or ice cream.
But mostly… I’m grateful.
So incredibly, overwhelmingly grateful.
Because when we look back at this season, we don’t remember the number of cones we made or the number of mix-ins that left our window.
We remember you.
We remember the baby who came for their very first little lick of ice cream. 🥹
We remember the graduations and the celebrations.
The first-time visitors who walked up as strangers and somehow became familiar faces.
The wedding dates that were shared with us.
The person who came to celebrate getting their driver’s license.
The creative creations you asked us to make.
The kids who grew a little taller since last season.
The families who came back year after year.
The hugs.
The tears.
The laughter.
The smiles.
The “thank yous.”
The people who stopped at our window on their best days… and some who stopped on their hardest days.
And sometimes, it wasn’t even about the ice cream.
Sometimes you just needed a place to sit for a minute.
Sometimes you needed someone to listen.
Sometimes you needed a little sweetness.
And sometimes, you needed therapy. 💜🍦
That is why this little place means so much to us.
Ice Cream Therapy isn’t just our business.
It is our family.
It is our history.
It is the people who came before us, the people standing beside us now, and all of you who have helped carry it forward.
And somehow, you have allowed our family to become a tiny part of your family’s story, too.
That is a privilege we will never take for granted.
Next Saturday, when we turn off the lights and close that window, we’ll be tired.
But we’ll also be looking back at another season filled with memories that we will carry with us through the winter.
Then we’ll take some time to do something we don’t get to do nearly enough…
be a family outside of a window. ❤️
We’ll rest.
We’ll laugh.
We’ll make memories of our own.
We’ll recharge.
And we’ll probably eat plenty of ice cream somewhere else. 😂🍦
Then, when March 2027 comes around, we’ll open that window again.
And we’ll come back with fresh energy, new ideas, new creations, and an entire new season of memories waiting to happen.
So, if you’ve been meaning to stop by…
come see us.
Bring the kids.
Bring your parents.
Bring your friends.
Bring someone who hasn’t been here yet.
Come get that last cone, that favorite sundae, that milkshake you wait all winter for.
Come stand at our window one more time.
Because someday, we’ll look back and realize that these weren’t just ordinary days.
They were the good old days. ❤️
