There’s a lot going on during this rainy Saturday! Walton Festival has been moved to the 4-H Fairgrounds, Doin’ it for Donna celebration of life & benefit is at the West Brooklyn fire station, college football has a loaded schedule, and we are slinging 5 for $20 Good Boy / Vodkade as well as $3 Long Drinks.

LSU plays Ole Miss at 6:30, let’s pack the place! And as always….. Geaux Tigas.

I gotta let everyone in on a little secret….

While I vowed to never do fried chicken here because of the mess it makes and I wanted to always do our own thing, I’ve secretly been practicing making it at home (it’s just as messy at home)….. and I think I’ve got it down pretty decent.

So tonight 9/16 from 4 PM - till it’s gone, we will be doing your choice of a 1/4 of light or a 1/4 of dark with fries. Mind you, ticket times might be a little longer than you are used to here, but it’ll be worth it.

We are doing homemade garlic sausage sandwiches today. A fresh 6 oz ground pork patty, topped with provolone, mild giardiniera, and chipotle aioli. They’re good.
