We traveled a short distance this weekend to El campo for a wet and wild weekend with the fam bam. Fortunately the kids showed up this weekend!!! We had a great time on this little mini vacay stay and unfortunately the judges didn’t like some of our new recipes, but hey 🎶 on to the next one 🎶 🤣

Wharton County fairgrounds was the destination this weekend and it was a windy sob. We managed to get a little money and some hardware. Glad to get home before the storms last night. Congrats to First Class BBQ, Robert on his GC and hospitality this weekend.

Stayed in our backyard this weekend at the Alvin Crawfish Festival and Cook-Off. Had a great day with almost perfect weather (minus the wind) and ended up cooking some good food that the judges liked. Ended up in the top 10!

Chicken: 1st 🥇
Pork: 24th
Ribs: 26th
Brisket: 3rd 🥉

Overall: 7th out of 97 teams
