We are back! Thanks for all the visits, cards, and prayers. It's time for Dusty Roads Smokehouse "Que on the Square", Thursday & Friday, downtown Alvarado open from 10:30 - 7:00. Come and get some of the best "Que" around. 40 years experience, voted best best brisket in DFW by KLUV Radio, our brisket rub was in the top 5 from Texas Monthly. Our meats are smoked to perfection with Wood, Fire, and Air. Along with our "melt in your mouth" brisket, we offer tender Pork Spare Ribs, Pork Belly, Turkey, and Craft Sausage, both regular and jalapeno cheese.

Our new menu item is Brisket Nachos, housemade white Queso, pico de gallo, jalapenos, and sour cream. Order with or without guacamole. See you soon.

It is so good to be serving the public again! Every Thursday at the "Daily Special Cafe", Alvarado, TX, we will be serving our "Award Winning" Wagyu Brisket, perfectly smoked with our "Texas Top 50" Brisket Rub, coming soon in 1 lb. bags, Our Lip Smacking St Louis Ribs, smoked Sausage, our famous "Baked Beans", homemade "Potato Salad", other vegetables and deserts. And of course our "Signature Sauce". We start serving at 10:45, "dine in or to go". We serve till we run out. Come get you some and remember, "You Don't need Teeth to Eat Our Brisket"!

We are excited, after 2 years of living mostly at the hospital, we are opening a food cart. Of course it is unique. Please look us up on facebook Barrel-Que. Barrel-Que is unique cooking process where the meat is cooked over the fire in a custom made barrel, instead of beside it or offset. This process allows for drippings to flavor the smoke for a Amazing Taste! Ribs Chicken, Pork Loin, you won't taste anything like it and then add the flavors, That takes to another level. We would love to hear from you. We are planning a soft opening Feb, 4th and 5th. Take out and delivery only. Thanks again!!
