Hi everyone,

I’ve been impatiently waiting to share an update with you all!
I am very happy to announce, that a lovely, very capable couple will take over the diner. They have been in the restaurant industry for over thirty years, and I can confidently say, that there’s exciting times ahead for our diner, my staff and for the customers.
We will make the transition as smooth and easy as we can. More information is to come!

Thank you so much for reposting and inquiring to my last post, I’d like to think that you all made this happen. This community is just the best!

To celebrate the history of the diner, I wanted to encourage you all to send me stories, anecdotes, and/or pictures you might have, so I can compile a little something for the new owners and frankly for me. You can either DM me here on Facebook or send it to our email [email protected]

Dear valued guests

As many of you know, I am moving back home to Switzerland in September. Over the past year, I have been working on selling the diner in the hopes that it will continue in some shape or form for the sake of my employees and the community.

So far, nothing has come of it. To clarify, I only own the business, not the property, but both are for sale.

I’ve made the very hard decision to leave the US no matter if I can sell or not. Which means that I will have to close the diner down by the end of July if no sale occurs.

Words can’t describe what the past eight years mean to me. The relationships I formed will forever stay with me. I found a family in my employees and regulars.

I want to thank everyone that has been a part of my journey here. A special shoutout to James Scott Owens, Tim Rambarran, Jennifer Hickox and the legendary Edan Petty for being my rocks in stormy seas. To the rest of my motley crew: I love you all! What a wild ride!

There will be some opening hour and menu changes in the next weeks so make sure to call or check our google profile for more information. I will post updates here on Facebook as well.

We are still open! So come on in and hopefully I can bid my farewell to many of you!

Again, thank you all for your support and hopefully someone will come along to continue the Diner’s 32 -year story.

Oh, and please be respectful in the comments. We all need more understanding and kindness in this world.

We’ll be closing at 5pm tonight (4/19/26) because of a family emergency of one of our cooks and several people out sick.
