What an incredible week! We just want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for the amazing support. We truly appreciate every order, every share, every recommendation, and every one of our customers who continue to support K & J BBQ.

If you happen to reach out and don’t hear back from us, don’t worry! We are officially on a well-deserved 7-day family cruise to the Bahamas. Since we’ll be in the middle of the ocean for most of the trip, we won’t have reliable service and won’t be able to respond to messages, calls, or inquiries throughout the week.

As soon as we’re back on dry land, I’ll work through every message and get back to everyone as quickly as possible.

We hope you all had an amazing Fourth of July filled with great food, family, and memories. Thank you again for allowing us to do what we love. We can’t wait to get back home, fire up the smokers, and see all of you again in a week!

🔥 Hey everyone! 🔥

With so many new faces joining us over the last few months, I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself.

👋 My name is Jesse, and my wife is Karlee—that’s where the name K & J BBQ comes from! While the business carries both of our names, I’m the one behind the smoker every day, and my passion is bringing authentic Southern-style BBQ to our community. 🥩💨

One thing you’ll quickly learn about me is that I believe in doing things the right way. Around here, it’s never been about serving the most food—it’s about serving food I’m proud to put my name on. Every rack of ribs, every brisket, and every pork butt is smoked low and slow with the same care I’d put into feeding my own family. 🔥🍖

Many of you knew me as part owner of Smokin’ J’s BBQ. Earlier this year, I took a leap of faith and officially started this next chapter as K & J BBQ.

Like any small business owner, there were plenty of unknowns, but the support you’ve shown my family has been incredible. Every order, every share, every recommendation, and every conversation at the trailer has helped us grow. 🤝

This community has been behind us from day one, and I can’t thank you enough.

We’ve already had an exciting year:

🏆 Our homemade BBQ sauce earned an award.
🌎 We’re working to get that same sauce on shelves across the country.
🥇 Our smoked pulled pork and brisket have become favorites for so many of you.

Seeing people come back week after week for BBQ we pour everything into… that’s what it’s all about.

We want to send a huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported us at the Brookville Laurel Festival!

We can’t express how much we appreciate each and every one of you—especially all of our new customers who stopped by to try our award-winning Southern-style BBQ, as well as the loyal customers who came back day after day for more. Your support means the world to us, and we are truly grateful.

We’d also like to give a special thank you to everyone who worked so hard to put this amazing event together. Your dedication and effort made this festival possible and created a wonderful experience for the entire Brookville community. You all are incredible!

We already can’t wait to see everyone again in 2027. Until then, be sure to come visit us at the Jefferson County Fair in just three weeks! We’re looking forward to serving up more of your favorite BBQ and seeing all of your smiling faces again.

🔥 WHAT A GREAT TWO DAYS IT’S BEEN! 🔥

We want to thank everyone who has come out and supported us so far at Laurel Fest! Even though the weather wasn’t exactly on our side yesterday, you all still showed up and showed us some love, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

We’ll be here at Laurel Fest in Brookville, PA through Saturday night, serving up the BEST DAMN BARBECUE IN PA from 11 AM to 9 PM every day. If you haven’t stopped by yet, make plans to come see us, grab some amazing food, and enjoy the festival!

🚨 SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT! 🚨

We heard you loud and clear! After countless requests, we’re bringing back our famous SMASH BURGERS this Saturday from 11 AM to 4 PM!

🍔 Every smash burger includes:

🔥 We’re Getting Ready for Laurel Festival! 🔥

We know we haven’t been out serving food this week, and we wanted to let everyone know why!

We’re busy getting everything prepped, packed, and ready for Laurel Festival in Brookville, PA, and we couldn’t be more excited. We’ll be heading up Friday afternoon to get set up, and then we’ll be there throughout the festival serving up lunch and dinner every day.

After the incredible support you all showed us last year, we honestly can’t wait to see what this year has in store. Laurel Festival is one of our absolute favorite events of the year, and getting to see all of our amazing customers makes it even better.

So mark your calendars, bring your appetite, and come see us! We’re ready to serve up the best damn BBQ in Pennsylvania all week long.
