We had a soft opening today for our hot bar! We invited some local business to come try it out at a special price and to give us some feedback. We also had our store open as well. They were able to purchase desserts, casseroles, quarts of Italian beef or pulled pork BBQ and breakfast sandwiches.
We learned a lot today and during our 3 hours we made over 200 to go meals!

✅Our hot bar will be open for customers starting Tuesday September 29th from 11am to 2pm.
We will be accepting cash, check and credit. The plan is to have it 4 days a week starting out. Then moving to 4 days plus 2 evenings.

Tiffany gave a tour of our new building to our friends at Taylorville Meals on Wheels today. She showed them our new facility and how these homemade meals get packaged for delivery. She even showed them the new addition we added after the fire to better serve our awesome Seniors. A lot of hard work & planning went into making this building run smooth for the meals on wheels program. We were happy to give this great group a tour. They even invited Tiffany to join them for lunch at Pinky’s! 🥰. Maybe next time!

Today is especially meaningful to us. After months apart, rebuilding, and waiting to reopen, we're so grateful to have our team back together again and doing what we love — serving YOU and our community!

The first Giving Plate menu goes live Monday, August 10 — and we're bringing back our MOST REQUESTED meal: CHICKEN POT PIE!! Pickups for the first menu will be August 19 & 20.

Thank you everyone

We had an overwhelming response for our open interviews today! We will still be holding interviews tomorrow from 1-3 at Deb’s Catering but will be canceling our 5-7pm slot. We can’t wait to reopen soon! We miss serving our community. ❤️
