Freier's pizzeria will not be reopening. With building health problems and building inflation. Also making it through covid was great but the cost of business has became to much. It has been a great 8 year run serving this community. The people in this community are the best. There will be a new pizzeria opening in my old location. Please give them your support and give them a try. They will need the support to succeed. Good bless all and hope that God blesses America.

Well was planning on opening at 4pm today. But my health is telling me no! Had a very stressful day yesterday and I'm feeling it today. So opening my shop is going to be day to day thing and today is not a good day to. So waiting till tomorrow to see if I feel better. Sorry for the inconvenience. I Will be posting here if I'm opening shop or not tomorrow. Also I would like to wish all my customers merry Christmas and happy new year. Try again tomorrow.

Hey Alpena pizza lovers! I'm happy to announce that Freier's Pizzeria will be opening at 4pm today. Feeling better and I have some help for the evening for the next few weeks. As long as I'm feeling good. It will be a limited menu. I will post the menu board when it's done. Pizzas,calzones,apps, ect. Would like to thank everyone with the good wishes and prayers. It helps getting through those bad days. Open at 4pm today! Hope to see you over the holidays. Hours will be Thursday - Sunday 4-9pm. Happy holidays! Oh, we also have free X-mas trees in front of the building if you or someone you know still need a tree. Come get one.

Well, The plan was to open up today at 4pm today. Spent all day yesterday getting the shop ready. Trying to open over the holidays as long as my health allows me to. Now today I'm feeling bad and can't find the energy to do it today. So going to wait till I feel better to open. Possibly Friday. Sorry for the inconvenience. But my health is more important and to do what needs to be done to prevent a heart attack. Relaxing and resting for the day is what I need. So stay tuned for when we will be able to open once again. What a drag it is getting old! Once I'm able to open hope that we are able to service you a delicious Freier's pizza. God bless you all and have a merry Christmas.

Hey Alpena, as most of you know I had heart surgery 2 weeks ago! The Doctor said to take it easy for the next 4 to 6 weeks. But being a business owner and thought I was feeling ok to work I opened for business last night. Well the doctor was right!!! Half way through the night I got busy and the stress level went up and my chest started to hurt. Thought I may be having a heart attack. So had to close early and lay down. Thank God it wasn't a heart attack. But I can't do the work till I completely heal. So I will have to close for the rest of this weekend. My health is more important than opening my business for this last weekend. So Freier's pizzeria will be closed till Dec. 18th now. Sorry for any inconvenience! Once again I would like to thank everyone that support small business in Alpena. Because " without you we don't exist." I must say,"What drag it is getting old"

Ok Alpena pizza lovers. I have got the ok to go back to work after my surgery. So we will be opening at 4pm tomorrow Friday. It will be our last weekend to be open until Dec. 18th then be open for two week through Christmas & new year. Then close again till the middle of April. Weather permitting. I would like to thank everyone for their concern about my health issues. So let's have a great weekend on the last weekend open for awhile. So get yourself a Freier's pizza this weekend.

Dew to having stints put in my heart yesterday. Doc says take it easy for the next couple days. So Freier's pizzeria will be closed till Saturday at 4pm. That is if I'm feeling up to doing it again. Sorry for the inconvenience but my health is more important. I would like to say, " thank you for all the prayers and I will be back asap." As always, I thank everyone that has supported small business in Alpena. Because without you we don't exist.

Hey Alpena pizza lovers! For the last couple winters Freier's has closed as a seasonal place here in Alpena. Well once again we will be closing seasonally. Much earlier this year. Starting Oct.1 we will be closing the doors till Dec. 18th opening thru the holidays till Jan. 5th. Then closing once again till spring, hoping sometime in april. Also will take order for catering office parties and any holiday parties while be open through the holidays. Will need 36 hour notice for any catering jobs.contact the pizzeria at (989)354-6722 please leave a message. I will get back to you!! Unfortunately the state of our economy and big corporations pizzeria moving into Alpena has taken its toll on my small business. So the only thing I can do is be closed seasonally and hope that things are better after the election to help small businesses to not just survive but thrive. Like it is suppose to happen after 8 years of being in business. The cost of everything just keeps going up and when people can't afford groceries for their homes. They sure aren't eating out and if they are it the cheapest they can find. My business suffers because of this. Thank you for choosing Freier's pizzeria over the past 8 years those of you that have supported our small business. So stop in before Oct. 1st and get a pizza before we closed for the season.
