Ope, holy smokes, folks! If you stopped by Cops & Doughnuts - Alpena between 6:15 and 7:30 this morning, you might've noticed Russell running a masterclass in evading ground wasps out by the entrance. We are so sorry if you had to dodge a few spicy little stingers just to get your morning coffee and a box of fresh treats!

That boy was moving faster than a Michigander rushing to get home before the first lake-effect snow squall hits. We truly can't make this stuff up around here, but Russell is safe, the wasps have settled down, and our display case is stocked and ready for you.

Come on by inside , next to Arby's at 2236 US 23 South, and let us make it up to you with a nice, quiet doughnut.

Today is World Pharmacist Day, and we want to give a huge shout-out to our incredible team here at The Drug Store, Alpena!

We are so lucky to have Keith (Alpena's beloved pharmacist, pictured here with his signature tie and glasses!), Jim, and Brad leading our pharmacy. With decades of experience between them, they are more than just pharmacists—they are trusted friends and neighbors who know most of our patients by name. They work tirelessly to ensure you get the care you need, and they hate seeing anyone have to wait!

Whether you're picking up a prescription through Alpena's first drive-thru (pioneered by Wes!), grabbing some coffee and a treat from Cops & Doughnuts, or just coming in for a friendly chat, Keith, Jim, and Brad are the heart of this operation.

Thank you for your dedication to our community and for upholding our legacy as Alpena's oldest family-owned pharmacy.

Join us in wishing them a Happy World Pharmacist Day in the comments below!
