house plants. Blake's Backyard offers a venue with modern conveniences with an elevated events atmosphere. We offer a full-service restaurant, hand-crafted hard cider & beer, and a unique experience for any event! Fresh homegrown fruit and vegetables are also available throughout the season.

Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill has officially been voted Best Cider Mill in Metro Detroit in this year’s WDIV Local 4 / ClickOnDetroit’s Vote 4 The Best!

For 80 years, generations of families have made Blake’s part of their Michigan fall traditions. Kids who once came here with their parents now bring children and grandchildren of their own. Generations of Blake’s team members have also worked incredibly hard to create the experiences and traditions that keep those families coming back.

Another Michigan fall is just around the corner. Crisp apples straight from the tree, cold cider, hot donuts and autumn days on the farm.

We’re celebrating Almont Homecoming at Blake’s Backyard! 🎆

Join us Saturday, August 15 for an evening of fireworks, bonfires, food, and drinks. Fireworks will begin at dusk, with the Backyard Bar open until 9:30 PM.

🌽 Concessions: Walking tacos, popcorn & roasted corn available at the Market

Our next Tales & Cocktails class is this Wednesday at Blake’s Backyard, featuring our Campfire Lemonade - a late-summer mix of lemonade, whiskey, apple cider, and cinnamon.

You’ll learn the history behind the featured spirit, make the cocktail yourself alongside our mixologists, and leave with your own shaker to keep the mixing going at home! 🥂
