If you loved our hand crafted family made goodness you’ll love Aiello's Pizza - it was important to us to leave yinz with quality food. We think we left you in great hands. Be nice to them as they get up and running later this year. Don’t get mad because they are busy. 🤣 (order early on Fridays)Also as a bonus bonus - check out the continuation of Posteraro Pizza in Shaler. Our family opened up a 2nd location for Angelos on Mt Royal Blvd. Between these two, we think you are in great pizza hands.

We are excited to announce that Aiello’s is expanding! Our second location will be in Shaler Township 🍕

As a lifelong resident of Shaler, Cathy remembers her dad, Joe Aiello, always dreaming of owning this location - and when the opportunity arose, Travis and Cathy didn’t hesitate to jump in and make his dream finally come true.

We are looking forward to serving Shaler and surrounding communities just as we’ve served Squirrel Hill for the last 40+ years! — Keep an eye on our social media for future updates! 🍕

🥹 Pizzarita Family, the time has come. Today is the last day of our time together. When we close our doors today it will be for good. A chapter ends a after a long tenure, we will be closed for good. 😭

Our time with you will always be cherished. The relationships we have built along the way will be everlasting. A decade ago we took over for Burchfield Pizza. We injected some Posteraro Pizza and our Bloomfield style into a location that has housed many things over the years. More importantly we entrenched ourselves with your families and the Shaler / Route 8 community. We grew with you, we survived many pizza fridays, and even a pandemic together. What a strong community.

Like you, we have seen additions to our working and biological families during our time together. We have also seen our share of losses. We celebrated and mourned with you.

Rita would personally like to thank all the people that made the shop possible. From every worker that gave their blood, sweat, and tears. To all the family that backed us along the way. To our regular customers, Rita is indebeted to you and still will remember your regular order 10 years from now when you see her.

We stood on the pillar of offering a quality product. Fresh and well crafted was a theme you could expect and taste from us. We are leaving you in great hands, it will be some time before the location opens again. Rita was sure to pass the business off to someone who will be valued by the community. You will be pleased.

To all the haters who complained about our hours, time it took to craft our hand made food, left 1 star ⭐️ Yelp reviews, or bi***ed about inflation prices increases: SUCKKA! We were a family business, women owned and operated. We are so proud of that.

In closing - We love you 😘 we loved you with our food and we wish you nothing but success and prosperity. We do hope our paths cross soon.
