We wanted to give a sweet update.

After sharing yesterday's post, a kind member of our community reached out and helped identify who had taken the flowers.

We did decide to contact the Alliance Police Department, not because we wanted to make a big deal out of it at all, but we hoped to prevent it from happening again. Officer Binkley was awesome and responded with professionalism and kindness, and a genuine concern for our downtown community.

This morning, this was waiting on our doorstep... the flowers were returned nicely, along with a seemingly sincere apology.

This is a reminder of God's goodness and faithfulness this morning. 😢 It's very easy to become discouraged by things that are wrong and unsettling, and assume the worst in everyone, but today we're choosing to extend grace & offer forgiveness as Jesus does, and believe the best in people.
Humanity is not dead, and Downtown Alliance is certainly not hopeless. 😉❤️

Grateful for the reminder, and another beautiful day in the city! 🌞

2 fun events today... and you can be part of one! We have an awesome crew out at Hartville MarketPlace & Flea Market for the 2026 Jeep Fest, with our main woodfire oven, slinging pizzas all day!

Come and check out your favorite Jeeps, eat some delicious food from local vendors, shop around and enjoy some live music! 🎸🍕🎶

To the person who went plant shopping at 3:26 AM...

We noticed you're enjoying our new landscaping as much as we are. 🌱😉

We planted those flowers to help make downtown a little brighter, beautiful and more welcoming for everyone.
We prefer they stay right where we planted them, but we're choosing to believe you simply admired them a little too much to leave them be.

We genuinely believe downtown is worth investing in, and will continue to plant, & improve...and keep the cameras rolling.
