Hey everyone! I know it’s been a minute, but I wanted to let you know about an exciting event happening this weekend. On Saturday, from 11 -3, we will be at Valley Farm Market in Bethlehem. We will be celebrating our 1 year partnership anniversary with a full line-up of tasting samples from our selection of British and Irish style meats and puddings.
Valley is your local spot where you can purchase our products.
We love supporting local businesses, so we hope you’ll stop in this weekend to say “Hey!”, have a wee taste and grab some fixins’ for your weekend game-watching pleasure!

To all our Proper Loyal Fans & Customers:

After such a very short time, John & I are sad to announce that we will not be re-opening. The current conditions make it impossible for us to consider opening back up.

This was not an easy decision, as “The Proper Little Pub”, along with “The British & Irish Purveyor’s” was a dream come true and the culmination of a lot of long hours and hard work. We are very grateful for the warm welcoming by all the Allentown Fairgrounds Farmers Market team and customers. It makes it even harder that there was such an overwhelming response to our authentic British & Irish cuisine, groceries and our Coleman’s Proper Meat Co. products. We always knew the beer would be a winner, we just wish we had more opportunities to share some of other brew recipes with you all.

As for now, we invite you to visit www.britishfooddepot.comwhere you find all the groceries, plus loads more, our full line of meats and other custom items from the UK.

We are hoping to start a free, local delivery service in the coming weeks, stay tuned to this page for updates on that and other developments.

As of today, Friday April 3, 2020, we are still "Shut". However, I would like to share a positive development. Starting next week we will begin a FREE "local" delivery program. To start, we will be limiting this service to Northampton and Lehigh counties in PA within a 15 mile radius of ABE Airport. Besides most of the prepared foods that many of you have come love, our proprietary "house brand" of bacon, sausages and puddings - Coleman's Proper Meat Co. will also be available along with all of the candy, groceries and other gift items found at www.britishfooddepot.com.
We will try to updating the available menu items at this site at least weekly. This week we have; Shepherd's Pie (Lamb-of course), Guinness Beef Stew, Cream of Potato & Leek Soup, Pork Pies, Steak & Ale Pies and Chicken & Ale Pies.
All credit cards are taken on our website. Sorry, but we will not be able to accommodate COD at this time. When ordering, mention in the comments that you would like a devery and please confirm the address where we will be delivering. When permitted, we will be introducing an additional service where you are invited to stop by our warehouse in Catasauqua for pick-up.

Unfortunately The British & Irish Purveyors and The Proper Little Pub will not be opening this weekend. This difficult decision was made based on recent regulatory changes and guidelines issued by Governor Wolfe and the PA LCB regarding Coronavirus Covid-19. The well-being of our customers and staff is of utmost concern and our number one priority.
