Goodbye was going to happen, it is however going to be sooner rather than later. On May 13th, the City of Allen and the Allen Public Library informed us that we would not be returning to the newly remodeled Allen Public Library with any space for a cafe due to budgetary constraints. Given this news, the staff and family have chosen not to continue.
We appreciate all the support we have received from the City of Allen and Allen Public Library. Eleven years ago, we were granted such a unique opportunity. We loved connecting with you all and appreciate the support that allowed us to continue. We will cherish the moments that were shared during these past 11 years. We hope all of you know what a profound impact this partnership has had on us.
To our customers from start to finish, we have been blessed to be included in your moments. It has been an immense privilege for us. We are thankful you made the cafe one of your stops in the library. Many of you are the very reason we kept going.
To all our staff (former and current), we truly appreciate you all. The time you gave meant everything to us - we loved sharing the moments we had working with you and have learned so much. We wish you all the best and are so proud to have been a part of your life experience. Again, thanks for the support and memories!
