Dear Friends, Neighbors, and Loyal Customers, After 13 incredible years of baking for this wonderful community, I have made the difficult and bittersweet decision to close the doors of Read Goodies. My last day of business will be Wednesday September 30th.This decision did not come easily. Running this bakery has been a true labor of love, but the time has come for me to start a new chapter and transition back into a full-time career. Looking back at the past thirteen years, I am filled with overwhelming gratitude. You have allowed me to be a part of your morning routines, your birthday parties, your weddings, and your holiday traditions. I have watched your children grow up, shared countless laughs, and formed friendships that I will cherish forever. Please know that I could not have done any of this without you. Your unwavering loyalty, smiles, and support kept my oven warm and my spirits high through every early morning and busy holiday season. I appreciate your business more than words can properly express. Thank you for making my dream a reality for over a decade. I will miss seeing you all, but I hope our paths cross again soon. With all my love and deepest appreciation,
Courtney Read.
