09/22/2022

To all our local Aliso Viejo residents and patrons from our family to yours I would like to give our sincerest gratitude to all your well wishes and support. After being alerted and called in by the authorities About the recent break in 3 initial feelings came to mind.

The first feeling was confusion. I asked myself why would anyone break in to rob a Creamistry. And what was more puzzling, why would they go through all that trouble and not help themself to a pint or two? (it would of been more value than what they got away with).

The second emotion that ran in my mind was the feeling of sadness. Not Sadness for the damages caused by the young perpetrator, but more so for the perpetrator himself. We encourage the community to pray for him as we have nothing against this person. From all accounts we failed him as a community to give him the love and support he may not have been blessed with growing up. And indeed these are acts of a child screaming out for help.

The third emotion that brought me inner peace was gratitude. I thank God for all the blessings we have and will have. I thank God for this amazing community. I thank God even for the perpetrator to voice his pain, although it was a bit messy, you caught my attention to pray for you. May God bless this community and our great country and may we all lend a helping hand to those that were dealt with a unfair scoop of ice cream.
