Kaylaaaaa, nooooooo!!!! 😭💔

Sometimes it happens. You add the most loveliest person to your Tamp barista family. 🥹🤎 They work. They play. They sing. 🎶 And sometimes? They even dance. 💃

And then?!?! It’s senior year of college and their schedule becomes way too crazy. 😭📚

Yeah, Kayla’s saying goodbye to her behind-the-bar time here at Tamp. We are sad. We are devastated. We are going to have to come after her if she doesn’t make good on her promise to come back for study time and visits! 😂👀

We are so incredibly grateful to know this awesome, awesome gal. Thanks for bringing so much sunshine to our lives, Kayla! ☀️🤎 We love you, and we can’t wait to see what you accomplish next!

Okay, Kayla! We see you! 👀🎶🤎

We already know she can make a pretty darn good cup of coffee, but on Saturday, August 22, our girl is stepping out from behind the bar and back into our little rounded window for an afternoon of music! 🎤

Kayla will be our featured musician for this month’s Acoustic Matinee, and we are SO excited to get to sit back, sip some coffee, and listen to her do her thing. ☕️🎶

So come spend your Saturday afternoon with us! Grab a drink, settle in, and enjoy some live music from a familiar T&G face. 😊

How are we supposed to say goodbye to our girl? 🥺🩵

Kymbre is heading off to college, and while we are SO excited for her, we’re really not sure we’re ready to let her go. 🥹

We’ve known Kymbre for many years. She started coming into the shop as a little one, Taylor’s cutie niece. Then, at 17, she officially joined our team, helping us with all the odds and ends: food prep, deep cleans, random jobs - we put her to work! 😂 And then, before we knew it, she was learning the coffee bar and becoming a full-fledged, and amazing, T&G barista! ☕️

And y’all, she is such a good one. 🥹 She’s hardworking, kind, always willing to help, and SO silly. We know you’ve heard her jokes! 😂

She loves her chai, makes us laugh, works her little tail off, and has just been such a sweet part of our T&G family. 🤎

We’re SO excited for you, Kymbre, but we’re going to miss you lots! Go have so much fun at college, learn all the things, drink lots of chai, and please come back often to visit! 🫶

You plan a road trip. You book a plane ticket. 🚗✈️☕️

First choice? The window seat, obviously. 🖼️ ☺️

There’s just something about staring out the window and letting your mind wander. 💭You wonder about the places people live, the scenery rolling by, “Hey, what exactly does that machine do?” “Where do these people buy their groceries?” You get excited about the destination, but somehow the journey is just as much fun. 🤩

That’s exactly what we were thinking when we dreamed up The Window Seat for our Summer Somewhere menu. We loved the idea of taking inspiration from coffees around the world, like Vietnamese coffee and the Spanish latte, then giving it a little T&G twist. 🌎💚🌍🤍🌏

A quad shot of espresso, a spoonful of sweetened condensed milk, silky salted condensed milk cold foam, and a little cocoa powder on top. 🤎
