🎸☕️ 🎶Acoustic Matinee is back!

Join us Saturday, June 13 from 2pm-4pm for an afternoon of live music with Gabriel Bass. Our hosts, Rick Adams & John Jordan will be welcoming Gabriel to his 2nd Acoustic Series with T&G, and we are so happy he’s back!

So, grab your favorite drink, settle into a comfy seat, and enjoy some great local music in our little corner of downtown. 💚

As always, Acoustic Matinee is free to attend, and we hope you’ll spend part of your Saturday afternoon with us.

Hey, T&G-ers! Photo dump time! ☺️📸

We just wanted to wrap up the month by sharing a few snapshots from some of the amazing things we got to be part of this May: River Fête, Coffee Flights & Feathers at the Alexandria Zoo, Bark Tank at LSUA, Holi Festival, the Bad Gnus Poets book launch, and our monthly Acoustic Music Series. 🤩

Looking through these photos, we’re feeling forever grateful. You support local events. You bring your friends, share laughs, let us sling the coffee, and let the vibes do the rest! Thanks so much for bringing the joy to our little corner of downtown. 💚

Next up? You’ll probably catch us scribbling ideas on sticky notes, typing a bunch of gobbledygook into our Notes apps, and mapping things out in our journals as we figure out which of our wild little ideas are ready for summer! ☀️⛱️😎

What a crazy special group of people these are right here 💛

The Bad Gnus Poets have been meeting at T&G since 2021: workshopping poems, swapping stories, encouraging each other, and laughing loud enough to make the whole shop smile.😊

These are the kinds of people who make T&G such a special part of this community. Caring, creative, welcoming, and always ready to make room for someone else to share their words, too. They’ve built something really beautiful together, and we’ve been lucky enough to watch it all happen right here from our little coffee bar. ☕️💚

And now? This group of longtime customers has become a group of first-time anthology publishers! And this Saturday, they’ll be launching their very first poetry anthology right here at T&G 🎉

There will be poetry readings, book signings, conversations, laughter, and a whole lot of people gathering around words that matter. 📝

Thank y’all for choosing our little corner of the world to create art, connection, and community. It’s a pretty wonderful thing to witness. ✨
