Dear Friends,
It is with a heavy heart we announce the closing of Lori's Table in Old Town Alexandria Virginia. It has been my great honor and privilege to serve you these past years. Your loyalty and support has been instrumental in helping us stay open through good and tough times.
I apologize for the delay in informing everyone of the closing of Lori's Table. I had planned to let everyone know prior to closing the doors.
Family circumstances prevented this: My Mom passed away last week, fortunately I was able to go to Indiana and spend time with with her before she passed.
I will miss everyone including my four legged friends. I will miss being the self declared "Mayor of King & Henry Street!
It is not goodbye my dear friends...It is until we meet again!

On Friday November 24, 2023 my sweet Mom Sandy Leetz
passed away. She was a generous kind woman who never met a stranger and touch so many lives.
We will miss you Mom, have fun playing cards, bingo and the great parties you will have!!

Lowball is joining Toast'N Taste and Preferred Insurance Services in helping restaurants and local charities. they have played all over Old Town and now are doing their part via live performances. Join Lowball Friday, July 3rd from 7:30 – 9:30 for a live webcast. Per the usual – you will get some good live music. You’ll get in-depth expert analysis of strategies employed by rock legends to “modify” their accommodations to meet their passion for interior “design” You might even win some Turtle Wax – and have it delivered by a real turtle!

And it is all for a good cause. 100% of the contributions we raise are going to be used to purchase meals from restaurants in Alexandria who are participating in the Toast N' Taste program. Toast N’ Taste coordinates with participating restaurants, and contributions are used to purchase meals for local charities and first responders. It’s a win-win idea. It helps local restaurants who are still dealing with significant economic fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic, and it does in a way that helps people in our community who need our support.
