🦪 TONIGHT’S EAST COAST FEATURE: SNOW ISLANDS

After almost a YEAR without them, Snow Islands from Harpswell, Maine are BACK at LURE! 🌊

These are classic Maine oysters — high brine, beautifully clean, with grassy, earthy undertones and that unmistakable taste of cold Atlantic water. Straight-up Maine perfection.

But there’s an even better reason to shuck a few.

Our Snow Islands are grown in partnership with the Quahog Bay Conservancy, an organization dedicated to protecting and restoring the marine habitat surrounding Snow Island. The oysters spend their final 2–3 years floating in mesh bags in the clean, cold waters of the bay, naturally filtering and improving the water around them.

And here’s the really cool part: 100% of the proceeds from these oysters goes back to the Conservancy to support their work protecting Maine’s waters.

Today we’re taking the day off to celebrate the incredible mothers, grandmothers, wives, and mother figures who keep our worlds spinning. Lure will be closed for Mother’s Day so our team can spend time with their families and the women who raised them.
