A Personal Thank You… and Something Special for You Tomorrow
Hi everyone! I’m Andrea, the owner of The Ivy Tearoom.
First, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for choosing us for your birthdays, anniversaries, girls’ days, bridal showers, and all of life’s special moments. Every reservation, every kind review, and every smiling face that walks through our doors means more to our family than you know.
Many of you know me as the person greeting guests, creating monthly menus, decorating for each new theme, and dreaming up all of the special events you enjoy. What many of you may not know is that over the past year I’ve been quietly battling cancer behind the scenes and continue to undergo treatment.
The Ivy Tearoom is truly a family owned and operated business. My two amazing adult children have worked incredibly hard to keep everything running while I’ve focused on my health. There are many days when they step in behind the scenes to help me, and I couldn’t be more grateful for them. So If you’ve noticed fewer special events than usual, occasional changes to our hours, or even arrived to find we had to close early, I sincerely apologize. Those decisions were were not made lightly, they are simply what our family needs in those moments.
Through it all, your kindness, patience, and support have carried us. You’ve allowed us to continue doing what we love, and for that, I can never thank you enough.
As a small way of showing our appreciation, I’m so excited to announce that tomorrow we’ll be unveiling a special Guest Appreciation Tea! ❤️
We will be offering a streamlined Afternoon Tea in our parlor for just $30 per guest as our way of saying thank you for standing by our family and supporting our dream. Details about the event will be released tomorrow.
I hope you’ll join us. We can’t wait to celebrate all of you.
