Tomasita’s Albuquerque opened in 2018, but the family’s restaurant roots in Albuquerque go back generations.

Long before Tomasita’s came to the city, the family was serving guests at Central Café near Atrisco Boulevard and Central Avenue.

Coming back to Albuquerque felt a little like coming home. ❤️

Our red chile starts with whole, sun-dried Sandia pods from Carrasco Family Farm in here in New Mexico. 🌶️

From there, the pods are cleaned, de-stemmed, soaked and run through our grinder four times before becoming the base for the red chile we serve every day.

Good ingredients, traditional methods, and a New Mexico family farm behind it all.
