Friends, I am at a complete loss for words right now and honestly very emotional after the final day here at our west side location. I cannot thank you all enough for the support, love, and encouragement you have shown me since opening the shop here. When I moved back to Albuquerque from the Bay Area, I wanted to create a space for everybody. I wanted to create a space where people would felt seen. I wanted to create a space that felt safe. I wanted to create a space where people could come to enjoy without judgment. I wanted to create a space where everybody would feel welcome. I wanted to create a space for friends and community to gather. I truly do hope that we succeeded in creating that space…a space for all, a space for you. We all created this space together, because without you it never would’ve become what it did. This was just as much yours as it was anyone else’s. This has always been more than about coffee for me. This is about community… building community and supporting each other. There were many people along the way that helped me to bring this vision to life. I’ve had the honor of working with some of the most amazing people here behind the bar at the shop and also the honor of serving some of the most amazing people I’ve ever met in this community. A lot of these people will remain lifelong friends, and I have no doubt about that. I will try to share more in the coming days as we wrap things up here and clear out the space that we all created together. Thank you thank you thank you….I love you all more than you know.
