Been out fixing fence since 8am after Zip(blind horse too!) and Snickers(troublemaker houdini brat)decided to run the property all night. Neighbor called me this morning to let me know they were by the road down in my ditches eating grass. I have a yard full and you decide the roadside is the best option 🙄. They ran the back perimeter and into the corn field based on everything they knocked down. Apparently they had a blast last night. P**p piles everywhere😆. Dante's fence was working, but the other two, not at all. Had to try and figure out why it wasn't working coming out of the barn because the gate wire was working. But the part that went up and over the barn, to the back corner, to make everything live was not. Then I had dead spots. So I have a few jumper wires going too. Hand knocked down ALL the weeds off my fence just to make sure it wasn't grounding it. Popping now at 6.5. Touch it now m'fers. Goes to show that the geriatric crew still has some pep in their step🥴. I'm just glad they putzed on over after I went outside and called their names this morning. I just walked back to the barn and they followed the leader right back into the pasture. Probably were thirsty at that point🫩.
