Our family has fond memories of gathering around the table– for holiday dinners, birthday cakes, euchre games, and laughs. For the last 14 years, Albion Pizza Depot has been a family-friendly place in Albion for people to gather around our tables. We’ve been delighted to see your families enjoy dinner and make memories at APD. John and I will always be grateful for this opportunity, but after a lot of encouragement and support from our kids, we have decided to retire from the pizza-making business.
Through the time in our second career, we have learned valuable lessons that will stay us, including:
*Albion is a wonderful, special place to live and work.
*The community spirit and generosity is greater than most people know.
*You’re never too old to make new friends and time with old friends is invaluable.
*Success is purchased through blood, sweat, and tears.
*Young people are still great–they can learn, work hard, and excel (which we learned from our high school employees who have gone on to become teachers, nurses, doctors, cosmetologists, firemen, police officers, parents, and more)
*People can walk into your life as strangers and become friends.
We are blessed to have served the community, not only as a multi-generational business but also as a supporter of the community and school. We also feel blessed by all the people we have come to know through our 14 years at Albion Pizza Depot. Now, we are ready to spend more time relaxing and enjoying family time.
The business is currently listed for sale; however, APD will continue to operate with our normal hours of operation and menu. Please continue to gather around our tables and enjoy each other’s company.
