ATTENTION FELLOW DOLLY LOVERS!! I reached out to some beautiful souls about trying to find a spot where us ladies can come and pay tribute to the Queen herself. Welp, they came through big time. It is my ✨️ABSOLUTE PLEASURE✨️ to announce that for one night and one night only...drum roll please...🥁....Big Irene's Little Diner will be transforming into "Truvy's" !!!!!! If you are a fan of Steel Magnolias, you already know that was the beauty salon Dolly owned. The one and only hub for the town gossip while ya got your roots touched up and eyebrows waxed. In my mind, I thought Irene's would be the perfect place due to the fact that it is OUR main hub in the 756 when it comes to small town love with a splash of harmless gossip, lol. ☕️ This get together will be on a MONDAY NIGHT. Y'know, after your 9 to 5. 😉 September 21st to be exact. The door will open at 5:00 pm. That is the first Monday AFTER the Albion Fair. We would appreciate if everyone who wants to attend could bring a side dish or snack. Punch will be provided. The kitchen will be CLOSED. This is just simply a space for a fun "come and go as you wish" get together to be silly and dress up, talk with your neighbors, make some new friends maybe, have some belly laughs, take some awesome selfies, grab a hot new profile picture ✨️🤣, fill up on some joy, and bask in the beautiful music Dolly so lovingly left us with. So get thrifting, crafting, bedazzling, Amazon carting! Whatever floats your boat. We expect to see you sparkle! Extra points if you show up as Dolly herself!! You gotta have some shine on though! It's a requirement to get in the door. Truvy runs a tight ship after all. ✨💋💅🎀✨️️ So break out the wigs, rollers, hairspray, lipstick, sequins, glitters, and tassles galore!!! That night the words "too much" will not exist. Dig out that dress you love in your closet but have nowhere to wear it. This is that occasion!!!! Let's do this proper and show up and show out for our Smoky Mountain Girl. We all deserve to feel beautiful, so let's get together and lift each other up in true Dolly fashion! Literally, lol.
