TUESDAY TIP!! ❤️
Your wedding rehearsal should NOT take two hours.
In fact, if your coordinator has prepared properly, a rehearsal should typically take no more than 30–40 minutes.
Here’s the secret: the rehearsal itself isn’t where the work happens. The preparation BEFORE the rehearsal is where the magic happens.
Wedding party members should already be identified.
Family processional participants should already be confirmed.
The processional order should already be prepared.
The officiant and coordinator should already be on the same page.
When we arrive for a rehearsal, our goal is simple:
*Introduce ourselves
*Make any necessary announcements
*Review the ceremony order with the officiant
*Line everyone up
*Walk through the processional and recessional
*Answer questions
*Send everyone to dinner
That’s it.
No chaos.
No confusion.
No standing around wondering where Grandma goes.
No debating who walks with whom the night before the wedding.
One of our biggest recommendations?
ALWAYS hold the rehearsal BEFORE dinner.
Get the business handled first, then let everyone relax, enjoy dinner, and spend quality time together before wedding day.
Whether you’re a DIY bride, a new wedding coordinator, or simply want a proven system for running a smooth, efficient, stress-free rehearsal, we’ve put together our exact blueprint.
