💜 BUCK-N-BULL BREW WORD — DAY 232 💜☕

✨ RESILIENCE ✨

Yesterday was filled with firsts for many people in our community. 🎒🍎📚

First day back to school.
First morning with that alarm clock again. 😴😂
First day in a new classroom.
First assignments.
Maybe some new friendships.
And probably a few “Okayyyy... we're going to have to figure this routine out!” moments at home. 😂❤️

Now comes Day TWO.

And today's Brew Word couldn't be more fitting:

💜 RESILIENCE.

Resilience is our ability to bounce back, adjust, learn, and keep moving forward when things don't go exactly as planned.

Because they won't always.

Sometimes you'll study hard and still get an answer wrong.

Sometimes you'll try something new and discover you're not very good at it... YET. 🌱

Sometimes the morning routine will completely fall apart.

Sometimes you'll have a difficult day.

Sometimes life simply throws something at you that you never saw coming.

But resilience reminds us:

A difficult moment doesn't have to become a difficult story.

You can regroup.

You can learn.

You can ask for help.

You can try another way.

You can rest when you need to.

And then...

❤️ YOU CAN GET BACK UP.

There's an old saying I absolutely LOVE for today's word:

“Fall down seven times, get up eight.”

THAT is resilience. 💜

And this isn't just a message for our students.

It's for ALL of us.

☕ The business owner trying something new.
❤️ The parent navigating a challenging season.
🌻 The person working toward a goal that seems far away.
🤝 The friend who's had a rough week.
📚 The student learning something difficult.
🌱 Anyone beginning again after a setback.

You don't have to handle everything perfectly to be strong.

Sometimes strength simply looks like saying:

“That was hard... but I'm going to try again.”

So today's reminder:

💜 Embrace challenges.
☕ Stay positive.
🌱 Learn from setbacks.
🤝 Lean on others when you need to.

✨ COURAGE ✨

🎒🍎📚 TODAY IS THE DAY — WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL, ALBERTON! 📚🍎🎒

After our little countdown together, the backpacks are packed, pencils are sharpened, alarms went off MUCH earlier this morning 😂... and another school year officially begins!

So we couldn't think of a better Brew Word for today than:

💜 COURAGE.

Because courage isn't always something BIG and dramatic.

Sometimes courage is...

🍎 Walking into a new classroom when you're nervous.

👋 Introducing yourself to someone you don't know.

🚌 Getting onto the school bus for the very first time.

📚 Trying something you aren't sure you'll be good at.

🙋 Raising your hand even when you're afraid your answer might be wrong.

🤝 Asking for help when you need it.

❤️ Sitting beside someone who looks like they could use a friend.

😊 And getting back up and trying again when something doesn't go quite right.

Courage is being brave even when you're scared.

And to every student beginning another year today, here's something we hope you'll remember:

💜 You don't have to have everything figured out.

🌱 You're there to LEARN.

⭐ You're going to make mistakes—and that's okay!

📚 You're going to discover things you didn't know yesterday.

❤️ You're going to grow in ways you can't even imagine yet.

And some days might be harder than others.

On those days, remember:

You are stronger than you think.

✨ KINDNESS ✨

Tomorrow is a BIG day for many families in our community...

🎒🍎 Alberton School starts TOMORROW! 🍎🎒

And as students head into new classrooms, teachers prepare to welcome them, and families get ready for those school-year routines again, today's Brew Word feels especially important:

💜 KINDNESS.

Because here's something we don't always know...

The person beside us may be nervous.

The student walking into school may be worried about making friends.

The teacher smiling at the classroom door may have butterflies too.

The parent dropping off their child may be feeling more emotional than they expected.

And somebody we meet today may simply be having a difficult day that we know absolutely nothing about. ❤️

That's why kindness matters.

It doesn't have to be something BIG.

😊 Smile at someone.
🚪 Hold the door open.
❤️ Say “thank you.”
👂 Listen when someone needs to talk.
🤝 Offer a helping hand.
🌻 Encourage someone who's nervous.
💜 Include someone who feels left out.
☕ Maybe even surprise somebody with a coffee. 😉

One tiny act of kindness can completely change the direction of someone's day.

Kindness is FREE to give... but PRICELESS to receive. ❤️

And as another school year begins tomorrow, here's something we'd especially love for our young people to remember:

🍎 Be the kid who says “Come sit with us.”

📚 Be the student who helps someone who's struggling.

💜 Be the friend who notices when someone seems alone.

😊 Be the person who gives a compliment instead of criticism.

🤝 Be patient with one another.

❤️ And remember that being KIND will always be more important than being COOL.
