You can generally find Sam at these days - a lovely new cafe from the .pizzeria folks with excellent bagels and coffee :)

Hello, an announcement: this is the last week of 86 toast!, which has been the sweetest little coda / seance and has really helped us heal and get some closure after almost 13 years of Bartavelle. We are so grateful to all of you for the love and support you showed us back in September, and to all of you who have continued to come during this limbo period, and helped us make new memories here. Thanks to you we’re now able to close this chapter feeling (mostly) ready to do so. If you stop by this week and want to stay in touch look for this red book - a yearbook of sorts for 86 Toast!

We have sold the cafe (though not the name or menu) to some lovely folks who will be continuing to operate it as a cafe going forward. Stay tuned for more details soon!

We want to take this week to celebrate with you, and with our friends! You can find us here Wednesday-Saturday from 8 to 1. Due to unforeseen circumstances we won’t have baguette sandwiches this week, but we’ll have coffee, porridge (sweet or savory) and fabulous pastries.

AT LEAST THROUGH MAY we are here WEDNESDAY-SATURDAY from 8-1 serving the same delicious coffee and a simple menu of pastries, porridge and baguette sandwiches as 86 Toast!, a temporary cafe.

We’re happy to still be here in this warm and beautiful space, and so grateful for all the support we’ve received over the years and especially when we had to close our doors as Bartavelle back in September. We’d love to see you all in the next couple months while we’re still have the space! Bring a book, a friend, a chess set (we have one you can use) and hunker down with us for a while. 💕

spring is springing and we decided to try taking over part of the parking lot today - lots of outdoor seating! It’s a beautiful mellow day at 86 toast! - come see us :)
