Albany Trailhead of Lake Wobegon Trail

Trailhead for access to Lake Wobegon Trail in Albany MN The trailhead is located at City Hall with lots of parking, restrooms and a picnic shelter as well.

The Great River Regional Library is located in the City Hall building as well and has access to the internet. It's on the main street of Albany and there are serveral options for restaurants just across the street from the trail. The Albany Golf Course is located just south of the trail as well if you'd like to add a round of golf to your Lake Wobegon trail experience. It's one of the finest 18 h

ole courses in Central Minnesota and they provide rental clubs so you don't even need to bring your clubs!

Where: NW corner Stearns County Fair Gounds at 1000 Ash Street South Sauk Centre, MN
Why: To enjoy a great ride on the Lake Wobegon Trail!

You can choose to ride from Sauk Centre to Melrose, West Union and Osakis and back.

There are all kinds of activities going on in Osakis so you can enjoy a fun bike ride and enjoy a fun event in Osakis after the ride. Lots of craft booths, games and live music headlined by Montgomery Gentry and featuring Eddie Montgomery!
