After over three years on staff at The Brim she is ready to spread her wings as she prepares to graduate and takes the next steps to attending the University of Oregon. Side note for those asking and so I don’t inundate the feed with updates about our son. He is doing really well given how serious his injuries were! We are forever thankful for your love and prayers. We have some big follow-up appointments this week and are hoping to shock the doctors at his progress! 💙

It’s been a week, so I wanted to update on Lincon. He is home and recovering. He sleeps a lot and the skull fracture and bleeds cause him quite a bit of pain. He does talk for a few minutes and remembers things. He does not remember the accident or a few details after it but he remembers everything else. Dates, phone numbers etc. We are finding blessings that have come from this situation and one of them is definitely all of you. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers and checking in. I’ve been at the shop a couple of times this week and I think every customer has asked how he’s doing. It means so much to know how loved we are by all of you. Another is he won’t need surgery on his wrist. He broke the worst bone to break in the best spot. So a hard cast it is! Thank you all for caring. We are working on resting and scheduling follow-up appointments. We don’t know how long his recovery will take. It could be three months, it could be six months or more. He is tired of sitting in dark quiet rooms but he also knows that is what’s best for his healing.

Many of you have asked if there is a GoFund set up. I have hesitated to post it on my business page but then thought, if this happened to any of my other employees, I obviously would so why wouldn’t I share it when it’s our own son. So, if you feel led, the link is in the comments and bio. Thank you all! We will get through this! 💙

Our son, Lincon, had a very bad accident and is currently in the ICU. Please pray for healing for him as he has a fractured skull and brain bleed. Please be patient with us if we are short staffed or need to adjust hours of operation the next couple of days. For now, we are opening on time tomorrow but may have to close early. Thank you for your prayers and understanding. -very worried parents/owners 😔❤️
