The Café Capriccio family and staff are mourning the death of Michael Folsom, who passed last week after a brief illness. He was the senior member of our renowned waitstaff for almost 30 years. Many patrons insisted on Mike’s presence when they dined at the Café. For us he will be remembered as a cherished member of our family, and beloved colleague. For countless Café Capriccio patrons Mike Folsom will be remembered for his impeccable manners, his immaculate presence, his exemplary professionalism, and the fact that he never forgot your name (or your partner’s name), what you like to eat, and your favorite drink. He was the definition of a great “waiter.” His spirit remains an inspiration for all of us.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 15th we will have not one, but TWO magnums of an insanely beautiful wine, Corvina Cresasso 2016 - a great vintage. Thanks to our partners at we will have the opportunity to pour glasses from a large format, which we realized, taste superior to the smaller bottles. No limits on how many glasses you’d like to have 🤌🍇

Franco & Carli are currently in Italy visiting vineyards like this to add to our wine lists. Joe Armstrong, a alumni of Capriccio, will be there to pour & describe this excellent wine.
