This week Bible lessons account of creation found in Genesis 1. As we study the creation of the world, some of the key points we will learn are:

God created all life.
God is in charge of all life.
God is powerful and spoke the world into existence.
We should love and honor God.

Genesis-1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens & earth.

CHILDREN BIBLE LESSON FOR THE WEEK CONTINUED WITH THE STORY OF ELIJAH

STORY

Elijah was a prophet. God gave Elijah a message from the wicked king. Elijah told the king it would not rain for a long time. God took care of Elijah. God gave Elijah water from the stream. God told the Ravens to bring Elijah food every morning and evening. God told Elijah to speak to the king again. The people in the land didn't want to worship God. They worshipped a false God called Baal. Elijah said it was time to see who the true God was. Elijah told 450 false prophets to call to Baal and ask for fire, but they couldn't make any fire. Elijah put water on his wood and prayed to God. God sent fire. Nothing is too hard for God. All the people shouted, " The Lord is God."

1. RAIN CLOUD IN A CUP( WHICH TURNED INTO STORM CLOUDS BY THE KIDS)

Elijah waited for the rain until he saw a small cloud in the distance . Theis science experiment will help the children wait for the rain.

2. FIRE HANDPRINTS

This creative and fun activity help the children remember how Elijah prayed and GOD sent fire from Heaven.

Created bird feeders

God sent the birds to bring food to Elijah. So with this activity the children created bird feeders and they will have the chance to feed the birds. They all had fun playing with the peanut butter and bird seeds.

Thursday May 1st 5pm-8pm

Prayer drive thru and pay what you can Bbq. Starting this ministry a couplehas been such a blessing to us and those we impact. Going forward we will start doing pay it forward and pay what you can pop ups. This first one will feature some real bbq for some real purpose and service. Come on out bring a friend or the whole family. Prayer tents will be set up and prayer warriors at your service. We are here for you. God bless and see you there.
