So as a culture, us Filipinos, we don't have a sandwich so I created one in a banh mi form.
I took the Filipino-style BBQ chicken stick off the stick and placed it in a bun.
The traditional banh mi uses pickled daikon and pickled carrots which I replaced with our pickle, Atchara which is pickled papaya.
So I took your taste buds like it's headed to Vietnam but when you take a bite you land in the Philippines.
I always tell my customers to think of the best sandwich they have ever ate and then take a bite.
This sandwich is one of the best if not the best in , come and get yours now, we will be happy to make you one, two or three...etc.
