We’re a café, a cheese and charcuterie shop, a place to grab lunch or stay awhile, a market for specialty foods and gifts, and, behind it all, a catering company creating everything from date-night boards to weddings and corporate events.

Come build a custom box at the cheese bar, shop cheeses and meats by the pound, grab something from the case, order lunch, try the weekly grilled cheese, pick up coffee or tea, or just find a table and linger.

For the final week of the season, we’re bringing back a favorite: peach, prosciutto + burrata grilled cheese with fresh basil and balsamic glaze, tucked between slices of fresh sourdough.

We have some pretty exciting news. Constance was just named ✨Best New Restaurant by Signal Akron

When we opened this place we wanted to create somewhere people could come together over really good food, so seeing how much Akron has embraced us means a lot. Thank you to everyone who voted, visited, told a friend, or came back for another grilled cheese.

This week’s grilled cheese has a little Middle Eastern twist 🌿

Halloumi + provolone with a za’atar spread and fresh arugula on sourdough.

If za’atar is new to you: it’s a fragrant Middle Eastern seasoning blend typically made with herbs like thyme or oregano, toasted sesame seeds, sumac, and salt. It’s savory, earthy, a little nutty, and gets a bright, tangy kick from the sumac.

Paired with salty halloumi, melty provolone, and peppery arugula, it makes for a grilled cheese that’s familiar… but definitely not ordinary.
