2022 marks 90 years of serving the Akron area. From the early days of the Florentine Grill, to present day at Papa Joe's, we say thank you, and to your grandparents, for dining at our restaurants. Located in the Valley, they are close to Weathervane Theatre, Stan Hywet, Blossom Music Center, the Summit County Metro Parks, and The Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Have dinner before a show, or after a hike or a bike ride. Open Tuesday thru Friday for dine in at 4:00 with Happy Hour 6 days a week from 4pm to 6pm in the cafe. Our Italian Market is open for lunch. Lunch carry out is available and there is also limited seating for dining in including a patio when weather permits. The full restaurant opens for dine in at 4:00.

The Iacomini Family first opened their doors in 1932. The heart and soul have been "Papa Joe" Iacomini, who passed away in 1998. Those who have gazed into his steel blue eyes, or have watched him tour his restaurants, always searching for ways to improve, know why the Iacomini Family has always been considered the first family of fine and traditional dining in the Akron area.

Joe's legacy lives on with the fourth generation of restaurateurs through his daughter, Judy. This trio of new culinarians continues to bring you "The Best of Iacomini's!" 2012 marked 80 years of serving the Akron area. From the early days of the Florentine Grill, to present day at Papa Joe's, we say “thank you”, to you and to your grandparents, for dining at our restaurants. Papa Joe’s is located in the Akron Valley, in the heart of the Cuyahoga Valley National Parks, very close to Weathervane Theatre, Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens, Blossom Music Center and The Summit County Metro Parks. Have dinner before a show, or after a hike or bike ride. We are open for lunch Tuesday thru Friday at 11am, with Happy Hour in our Cafe, Tuesday thru Sunday from 3 pm to 6 pm, including beverage and appetizer specials! Dinner Starts at 4 pm.
