The Front Porch

The Front Porch The Front Porch Café The Front Porch is on the corner of Grant & South, dedicated to serving the community.

We have a Café that is open T-F 7:30am-2pm serving breakfast and lunch, job training for the formerly incarcerated, support in re-entry and recovery through meetings, Faithful Servants Care Center, and space that is available for rent for various community events, activities, Bible studies, and more. The Front Porch is under the umbrella of South Street Ministries, whose mission is "Unlikely Partners Taking Shared Risks to Renew our Community for Christ's Sake." We seek to be the embodiment of this mission both in the Summit Lake and South Akron areas, as well as the Greater Akron area.
