🚨Long Post Alert 🚨
In the Summer of 2023 we opened our third location in Green, Ohio.
The First 100 customers that call get any pizza of their choice for $1. This creates a dinner rush situation and gives our pizza chefs good “real time” training.
Jill comes in for her first day of pizza training and passes out! (Turns out between a day of fishing with her father and a night of phone training and pizza training she was NOT properly hydrated) I told my Manager at the time “I don’t think she will be back for training tomorrow.” Boy was I wrong! Jill came back and she came back with a vengeance to not only work with us but to be the best.
Fast forward three years and she is now our top manager at the Green location! Since our opening Jill has always showed up on time, in the proper uniform and ready to do WHATEVER was asked of her with grace and respect. She has been a servant to all of our amazing guests as well as her leaders and subordinates a like in her three year tenure with Upper Crust.
Last year, Jill competed for the first time at the Pizza Expo in Columbus, Ohio and won the best flatbread in America in the non traditional division but did not place.
I am so extremely proud to announce that Jill returned to Pizza Expo in Columbus, Ohio this year (with a 10 DAY NOTICE) and she came in 3rd place in the ENTIRE WORLD in the Gluten Free Division! Most of the people on this list have OWNED pizza shops for years!
