Zappy's Cafe We are a small local business/ restaurant that serves ma and pops style meals, in a casual family setting with a fun environment and friendly staff.

Hello here at Zappy's, we provide a family friendly environment with up beat staff and good home cooked food, for those on the road and for those in need for local dining. Kyle and Zita (Dippold) Howard purchased the Headwater's Restaurant in Akeley in 2015 as a dream of theirs to own a restaurant.They are looking to give you the comforts of home cooking while you are away from the home and day to day dining. Please feel free to come check us out, and give us a try, you wont go away hungry!

Naomi Benson has worked with us since she was 14yrs old, time sure does fly.. If you come in and see her give her a congratulations!!!

She is planning on going to Northwest Tech in Bemidji, to start pursuing her goals of being a travel nurse!!!
