🍔🌶️ Say hola to the Jalapeño Ri-card-oh! Burger, on special Monday and Tuesday at La Presa Mexican Restaurant in Airway Heights!

The name comes from our longtime customer and friend, Rick. He asked Clint for a special burger, so Clint made one up on the spot. Rick loved it—and now you can try it, too!

We start with beef from Johnson Homestead Medical Lake, season and charbroil the handmade patty, then add Monterey Jack cheese, red onion, crisp iceberg lettuce, juicy tomato, and fresh jalapeños for a little crunch and kick. Clint’s housemade Mexican-style taco aioli spread brings it all together.

Come hungry, amigos—this one’s only here Monday and Tuesday! 🇲🇽

We received a food order Wednesday night for Marilyn Manson’s band at Northern Quest Resort & Casino.

From our cocina to the tour bus… ¡Buen provecho, Marilyn! 🌮🔥🤘

Clint Hernandez, chef and owner of La Presa in Airway Heights, said the response from the Airway Heights Police Department left him grateful and inspired.

That’s because Chief Brad Richmond helped a man who appeared to be struggling with homelessness and hunger. Richmond had stopped in for a gift certificate when he noticed the man. Before he left, Chief Richmond made sure the man was no longer hungry.

“To take time from his busy schedule to help others is inspiring,” said Clint. “It reminds us that if he can do it, so can we. We all have a part to play.”

It is a reminder of what makes Airway Heights so special.
