The Tablespoon is a gourmet bakery and lunch bistro located at 421 Peachtree Street in Ahoskie (right behind Central Ford). This small business, which is unique to the Ahoskie area, is owned and operated by Suzanna Hoggard. We proudly offer quality artisan breads, pastries, donuts and other specialty foods that cater to a diverse customer base. We also feature quick lunch options which include sandwiches served on our fresh baked breads, homemade soups and fresh salads. Need a cake or any other baked goods for a special occasion or gathering? Birthdays, Office Parties, Family Gatherings, or whatever your need... we have the cake (or other goodies) for you! Lunch time is here, and we have Rosemary Ham Sliders as our special for the week. Three of our gourmet brioche slider buns topped and toasted with black forest ham, Swiss cheese, caramelized onions, baby spinach, and our Rosemary-Dijon aioli. Served with your choice of side, and tea or water. As our special side this week, we have Rosemary Roasted Potatoes. Tender pulled chicken breast tossed in our sweet & smoky BBQ sauce, thinly sliced red onions, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and a drizzle of our house ranch on our seasoned flatbread.
