Here is my little popup company, Pao Pao by Thai Chili Truck 🤍❤️

Every single bun is handcrafted and made by me, with some help from Chef Phil 😊

I have made SO MANY buns since April 😂 but most of our Pao Pao popups have been in the bigger cities. Locally, we got to serve them at VegFest in Easthampton, and the turnout was amazing!

I honestly couldn’t believe how many people nowadays are opening up to trying all kinds of cultural foods, not only the American comfort food we are used to seeing everywhere.

And for someone like me who is always thinking about food and coming up with new recipes, this lets me enjoy cooking so much more. ❤️

People ask me why I make so many different flavors… or why I make different colored buns.

The answer is simple — I LOVE to play with food! 😂 I don’t want to get bored with my own cooking.

So don’t mind me if next time you see your bao bun and it’s RED… GREEN… or who knows what color! 😂❤️🌈

Thai Chili fans — I need your thoughts! ❤️

I’m thinking about doing a little Bao Bun Pop-Up in Agawam next week and I want to see who would be interested!

We’ve been doing more Pao Pao pop-ups in the bigger cities, and I would LOVE to bring some of these handcrafted buns back home for our Thai Chili customers to try. 🥰

Everything is made by hand — big, fluffy, soft buns with lots of filling.

Thinking about offering a variety like:

* Roasted Pork
* Pork & Egg
* Shrimp & Pork Truffle
* Curry Chicken
* Spicy Basil Pork
* Chicken Green Curry
* Sweet Buns

Would you come by for a Bao Bun Pop-Up next week? And which flavors would you want?

I’m also using this as a little trial run for this winter. 👀

I’ve been thinking about possibly opening the Thai Chili kitchen again during the off-season for takeout only, but keeping it VERY simple — not our full food truck menu.

Something like:

Pad Thai • Noodle Bowls • Handcrafted Bao Buns • a few rotating specials

Simple, fresh, and easy to grab and take home.

Nothing is decided yet! I really want to hear from the people who have supported Thai Chili all these years.
