Made a Cherry Crumble Pie yesterday and now all I can think about are autumnal desserts (hello, Thanksgiving!) Don’t judge.

But also, have you tried The Gobbler? She started off as an experimental craving I had a few years ago around Turkey Day and wormed her way onto our permanent menu.

Pepper jack cheese, bacon crumbles, craisins (stay with me), Michigan turkey slices, toasted and topped with spinach, sliced Granny Smith apples and dizzled with honey.

I get it. It sounds bizarre but I promise she is worth the weird!

Good sticky morning to you all!

I have some great news! Now until September 30th, you can buy any size pizza while simultaneously checking your philanthropy box off for the day.

For every single pizza we sell for the next 22 days, a dollar is being donated (and matched! Thanks, Lenawee Community Foundation!) through the South Michigan Food Bank to St. Mary’s Food Pantry right down the street from us.

Not that you *needed* another reason to buy a pizza, but I feel like helping your neighbors who might need a little extra assistance is a pretty damn good one.

Happy Labor Day!

We are CLOSED on this gorgeous Monday because I fear I do not wish to labor today and it would seem unfair to ask my team to work when I do not want to.

You will not be able to convince me that I do not have the *best* team. When you have people who care about the details like individual pepperoni placement, you count your blessings.

I’m having an absolutely phenomenal Friday morning and the rain shan’t dampen my mood!

GUYSSSS! First of all, good morning. Second of all, LOOK AT HER!

Kacey made this absolutely gorgeous Torpedo on Friday night and I have never been hungrier from simply looking at a photo.

We’re open for lunch today from 11:00 - 2:30 with soup, lunch specials, pizza, outdoor dining, indoor dining, great personalities and a talent for making excellent subs. Come see us!

Our girl Julia got married to the love of her life yesterday and I was honored to be asked to make their sweetheart cake! It was a gorgeous day for a brilliant couple and a wonderful celebration of their love.

Julia has been with us from Day 1 here at Downtown Dempsey’s and it’s been incredible watching her build her life into a perfect work of art. We love you, Juju (& Collin & Reed!)

Hello. It’s Monday. We’re open for lunch and I am VERY tempted to bring soup back ASAP based solely off of the chilly morning we have here. I need your feedback again:

Yes, bring back lunch soup immediately.

No, don’t jump the gun and just wait a second, Tiffany.

Lastly! We have a delightful Tuna Pita and it’s definitely worth trying if you haven’t yet. You can add extra toppings to it too! (i.e. lettuce, tomato, extra onion, pickle, jalapeño, banana pepper, cucumber, etc — you get the idea)

Okay, so, that’s all. Happy start of the week! Might dig some flannels out of storage later.

It’s Jillian’s last day with us before she goes back to school and I’m on the verge of weeping because we’re all going to miss her here so much!

Come say hello/goodbye and order her absolute favorite item to make… the perfect little Pickle Pockets. Or just a pizza. Or a Cheesiest Bread. Order what you want, don’t let me tell you what to do, idk.
