I should not have to do this but due to the ALL POINTS BULLETIN put out by our local news reporter, causing multiple phone calls before I could even process things and make an evaluation of the situation.
Yes we had a run in with the Nebraska Department of Revenue, as of 1-1-26 a product we were carrying for our customers was no longer available for sale until that company registered with the state so we removed the item from our shelve. Those items were placed in a closet until item became able for us to sale again. Beings those items were still on premises the decided that it would be a $1,000 fine for having them in the building. So yes I had a moment and didn’t handle the situation the way I should have. We will deal with the situation and continue to be here for you! Will not allow the government accessing ridiculous fines, stop us from providing a service to the community.
