HAPPY 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO US! TODAY, MARKS 2 YEARS AT THE SH. WE HAD A HUGE BURGER PARTY PLANNED BUT THOSE PLANS WERE SCRAPPED DUE TO THE HEAT DOME WE ARE EXPERIENCING.
I get asked a lot of why we need to close early especially when we have not 1 but 2 AC units in the building. Well, let me explain.
1. The building size is so small that our huge kitchen compared to the size of the building creates so much hot air the AC can't cool it.
2. Safety for all of our staff. When there is so much humidity things become slippery, our basement stairs & floor become a tad unsafe.
3. Why close around 2pm? Because it only gets hotter as the day goes on. At 2pm our Kitchen is around 130 degrees. People can only take so much heat before they shut down.
4. Because I care about all my staff as well as my customers. These decisions are not taken lightly. We have tons of food to sell & when we close early, we can't sell it. So come join us for lunch and sweat it out like we have to do!
